This is our first Sprocket and we wish to welcome all of the BORC community to participate in future issues with news and snippets. The Sprocket will contain updates of upcoming events and information of interest for all BORC members.

Ons is ook bly om te sien dat Tyson en Meiring nou gipsloos is en weer lus vir aksie is, sterkte vir die res van die seisoen aan albei. Meiring is ook gekies om Suid Afrika te verteenwoordig in die AMU byeenkoms in Kenia later hierdie jaar.

Sorry to see that Stuart and Donovan have both had "Honda" problems with their bikes, you guys must stop breaking cranks!

Paul Carter has proven that wishes do come true with his "new" KTM, glad to see that there is such a sharing spirit in our MotoX community.

Sean Ford is a welcome new addition to BORC and we look forward to his progress as well.

Klein Charnique Lombard het 'n skitterende dag in Welkom gehad op haar quad en ons vertrou dat sy die evasgelag se naam vervolgens hoog gaan hou!

Nicole Badenhorst is also a young lady with a passion to show the blokes what a girl can do on her new Quad. Go girl!!

Alec Salley has opened a branch of Salley's Yamaha here in Bloemfontein and we wish them success with the new venture as well as welcome to Bloemfontein.

We also want to wish Dougie, Daphne and Warren all the best with the move to their new premises in Krause street.

Deirdrè Botha was once again chosen to represent the Free State in Korfball. She will be taking part in the trails for SA's from 6 July till 13 July. Good luck to her and to Leon doing the baby-sitting thing again.

Barry and Sakkie (Jeanette) seem to be settling down well in East London and we hope to see them here at the Naledi. Healthwise we wish them both a speedy recovery with Barry's shoulder and Sakkie's "rebuild".

All Pit owners are reminded that arrangements for monthly maintenance of pits @ R20.00 per month must be made with Petrus.

Hoe vorder dit met die Raffle verkope?? Hier is 'n gulde geleentheid om sommer baie geld in te samel vir ons klubhuis projek.

Just a reminder that non-riders may also join as social members @ R150.00 for membership for half of the year.

Our fun day practice on June 22 was a great get together, glad to see that eight quads were trying out the track. We hope to have more of these days as it brought in R1500 for the club.

The next MotoX competition is the Junior meet in PE on the 13/14 of July, for all those planning to take part we wish the best of luck!

Please note that date for the Naledi has been changed from the 27'th of July to the 20'th!

Special rates for club members have been arranged for the weekend and we hope to see as many of the BORC crowd as possible. The campsite is also available but you will have to "rough it" as the facilities are not quite up to par.

Ons wens ons offroad deelnemers suksess toe met hul deelname aan die Naledi

Die volgende groot byeenkomste hier op ons baan gaan die Regional (jnr & snr) op 14 September wees en die Snr National die 5 de Oktober. Dagboek hiedie naweke ook as julle nie self gaan deelneem nie, ons het alle ondersteuners nodig op daardie twee byeenkomste so gryp 'n vriend ook en sleep hom saam vir 'n lekker dag van MotoX.

We are also planning a Breakaway Weekend for the weekend of 9 August (No MX meets on that weekend!) The venue is near Tweespruit on banks of the Armenia Dam, at present the cost is R50 per night. In rondavels that house 4 persons. Bikes & Quads are welcome so bring them along as well! A game drive and booze cruise is being planned as well. If we are able to occupy at least 10 rondavels a better price may be negotiated so please keep this weekend open! If interested a Sunday Buffet @ R45.00 p.p. And a kiddies menu can be organized. Hou ook die eerste naweek in November oop vir die Trompsburg trippie. Verlede jaar het Deirdrè Botha 2'de gekom in die Bokdrolspoeg kompetiesie en ons is seker dat sy die eerste plek hierdie jaar wil behaal!

Ryan Futter, # "69" will most probably be there to defend his first place of last year, he also won the R1000 cash prize. Joung Anelize Jacobs also won her class.

We remind everyone not to break the beds in the hostel this year please! Accommodation will be available there again this year.

The Guest of Honour this year will be none other than our own Afronaut, Mark Shuttleworth! We hope you will all be there for a great weekend of fun!
